While shopping around in Boulder, I came across this great cupcake book – Hello, Cupcake! – which combines ordinary cupcakes and different kinds of candy to make fun edible creations, such as spaghetti & meatballs and corn-on-the-cob. So, of course, I had to test it out and try a few – along with my sidekick. Heh. And I think they came out rather well and look fun … oh, and taste great!
So what’s the secret? The meatballs are Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls covered in my own strawberry jam, which are placed on cupcakes that have been drizzled with cream-colored icing. Yum! And the corn is made with different colored Jelly Bellys and Laffy Taffy makes a perfect pat of butter. So its very easy and simple to put a smile on peoples faces :)
