Let’s Swap!

How about another fabric swap! The last two I-Spy Swaps were pretty successful, and covered several countries and plenty of US states! And swappers have been asking for another round, so I’m hoping for a good #3 :)

Now before I get all crazy with the guidelines, dates, and sign-ups, let me ask you what you want.

1. Shall we do another I-Spy fabric swap with child-oriented fabrics, or switch things up for a designer fabric square swap, like a charm pack?

2. Shall we do this before or after the holidays?

If interested, please leave a comment with answers so I can get a majority vote. Thanks!

I would love to swap. I am personally making an ispy quilt for my 3 year old son using alot of child oriented fabrics and munki munki or HR prints. I am trying not to use the same fabric twice although that is proving to be a challange. I would be good with anything bright colored, abstract, child oriented. I vote for after the holidays.
    Thanks for hosting!

  2. Amelia says:

Hi! I vote for the charm square packs and to do it after the holidays

  3. Mandy says:

I’d love to do an I spy swap after the holidays. I’m fine with whatever format is selected. What about child, oriented charm packs?

  4. Amy says:

I vote for after the new year. I am game for either, but that depends on the actual rules. (I am working on a couple 1 on 1 swaps right now & am willing to play with others.)

I saw your “thingy” for Margaret’s Hope Chest, I am presently packaging a UFO (or 3/4/5) & other fabric stuff to send to them.

I would be in for after the hollidays…

I saw the spoonflower swap (but didn’t get in on it) on Crafterhours…I would totally do something like that. I am also interested in a child oriented one as well.

  6. I am in–for anything :)
    Anytime :)
    Looking forward to it1

    Yeah!!! Count me in x2!!

Myself & My sis-in-law, Lisa Harwood from Ontario, Canada! Can’t wait!
    Thanks for hosting again!

Guess I should answer your questions… I personally don’t mind before the holidays (as I’m working on all my other projects, I’m happy to cut and send fabric). I also don’t mind if they come back after the holidays.

As for what kind of swap – I’m open to anything as well. I have quite a stash of fabric, so it is nice to be able to use some of the things that I have on hand, if at all possible… so the more specific the swap, the harder it is for me to do that.

I’m (we’re) up for anything, as Carin said… anything, anytime.

I would love to do a charm pack swap!

  10. Jen Spilker says:

I’m in! I’d prefer after the holidays and I think would prefer to use children’s fabric as I already have a couple I could use. But I’m up for whatever! :) Thanks Katie!

  11. Beth says:

I would love to join. I’d defiantly be up for doing a Spoonflower swap!

  12. Laura says:

I vote designer charm packs after the holidays!

  13. Sue says:

I would be in for after the holidays and either format or do two swaps, one of each sounds good to me.
    Thanks for doing this!

  14. Beth says:

Awesome! I am hoping to get 2 i-spy quilts finished before christmas and I have a ton of sqaures to swap. If you did another designer charm square swap after the holiday I would probably be in too!

  15. Nancy Oakes says:

I would prefer a real I spy swap—-not just for kids—–like strawberries, cars, boots etc. doesn’t necessarily have to be just kids things. Again I would like to wait until after holidays if possible.
Just count me in and let me know what you want…
Also here’s an idea for future swaps. What about flannel? I sure see lots of cute things out there.

  16. Suzi says:

After the Holidays would be best. I can do either swap, it’s all fun!

  17. Ruth Thompson says:

I’d like to do something geared towards adults…like a charm pack swap.

    Thanks!

  18. Erin says:

I would LOVE to do a charm square swap ~ before or after holidays, either work for me :)

  19. I’m always up for another I-Spy Swap.
After the holiday would be great. I’m not picky on kind of swap it is. As along as it’s fun!!

  20. Gail says:

I would be up for either. After the holidays would be best.

  21. Carrie says:

I always up for swap. I’m more interested in the traditional i spy squares. I have less interest in charm packs. Before or after the holidays, either one works.

  22. I’m usually game for a swap.

I am flexible, but after the holidays would be easiest for me.

Either ispy or designer would work…

  23. Melissa says:

Would love to do an I-Spy charm swap after the holidays!

  24. Balinda says:

I would love to do an I spy swap. For me the Ispy squares don’t have to be kid themed. They can have spools of thread or safety pins. I am more into the colors. it would be fun to have people choose a color and then they send in squares in that color range. (3 fabrics for 120 squares)

I never get enough orange or purple in the I spy swaps and have accumulated a good stash that I would love to share.

  25. Kim says:

I would love to do a swap!!!! It doesn’t matter to me when, I have squares ready so I can do it anytime!

  26. Kim says:

P.S. I would do any kind of swap, although I have some good I spy ones, doesn’t have to be kid, but definetly I spy. But I will participate in anything, it`s so much fun! And it’s turned me into a quilter, something I swore I would never do! :)

  27. amber says:

i’d love one after the holidays…i would love to do a “Food” swap…the last swap had such fun food fabrics that i now want one of just that!! but I’m also up for kids, charm packs or whatever!

  28. alisha says:

I vote for child oriented ‘spies’ after the holidays. Thanks

  30. Penelope says:

I vote for an I-Spy fabric swap with child-oriented fabrics before or after the holidays would be fine with me. Thanks for being willing to put this together.

  31. Natasha says:

I have never done a swap so I would be interested in trying this. Either way is fine but after the holidays!

  32. Marta says:

It will be my first swap . Either before or after holidays. Also either charm packs, flannel or kids. Very exciting. Let me know about all the rules I am definitly IN :)
    Thanks

  33. Jeanette says:

Yes I would like to participate and would prefer child-oriented fabrics; preferably after the holidays. Thanks again for hosting the swap.

  34. Linnea says:

I would love to do another swap. I would rather kid or basic I-spy stuff (ie. cars, bugs, snowflakes, fish, food) not charm packs. Any time is fine. I have my fabric ready to go!
